Motif number 1 in Rockport, Massachusetts, is a replica of a former fishing shack and is known and recognized throughout the world. It is said to be the often-most painted building in America. In the 1930s, painter John Buckley used the shack as his studio.

About Patrice Zinck
For as long as I could remember I have always been involved in creating in some form or another. I remember growing up in an environment where creativity was encouraged. My Mom was my biggest influence and inspiration. Photography satisfies my need to create. When I have a concept of an idea of what I want to capture, I can sometimes struggle with what is in my mind and executing the way my mind sees the image. Then there are times when my images take me in a totally different direction, further than anything that I had in mind with great results.
