Magnificent capture, has me wondering why this truck was abandoned the way that it was.

Patrice Zinck replied:

Thanks Luis, Old Car city is a fascinating place. It use to be a junk yard, but when the owners noticed photographers were coming there to take photos they started to charge and cater to photographers! That's American enterprise for you!

Artist's Description

Another capture from Old Car City, GA. This is a vintage Ford truck now a tenant at Old Car City, but I don't know the year. If anyone knows, please get back to me.
OCC is not only a graveyard for cars and trucks but it is an outdoor museum filled with history. On display are cars and trucks long forgotten and neglected but have been brought back to life and interest by it's owner and visiting photographers. If you like nostalgia, antiques and cars this is a must see place!

I processed this with a softer HDR look. I liked the look.

For as long as I could remember I have always been involved in creating in some form or another. I remember growing up in an environment where creativity was encouraged. My Mom was my biggest influence and inspiration. Photography satisfies my need to create. When I have a concept of an idea of what I want to capture, I can sometimes struggle with what is in my mind and executing the way my mind sees the image. Then there are times when my images take me in a totally different direction, further than anything that I had in mind with great results. However every image I create I consider a work in progress, helping me to improve my craft. Work is currently being displayed at the Media Art Council (MAC) Gallery in Media, PA on a...
